Very few people in India own vehicles, which prevents them from attending events outside their village. To meet this need, the local church collaborates with various companies to transport people to and from the event each night.

About 60% of India’s population lives below the poverty line. In an effort to meet both physical and spiritual needs at each event, a local church prepares and serves a meal that will feed thousands. For some this will be the only meal they eat all day.

Each Night of Hope event features live music that precedes the preaching of the gospel. A team of Indian musicians will lead worship using a locally rented sound system that will enable the gospel to be heard not only by those in attendance but also for miles away.

This Ten9 effort requires renting three outdoor fields in three distinct cities, hundreds of chairs, three stages, and advertising banners. Our Indian church partners utilize local companies to rent from and transport everything from village to village.

Pastors play a critical role in discipling people in the local church following gospel events. This pastor conference will have over 400 local pastors in attendance. They will receive encouragement and Bible-based teaching that will assist them in their work. Many of these pastors live far away, so Ten9 will help with transportation and meals.

The Ten9 team of five will spend more than 24 hours on an airplane before arriving at their destination in India. Once there, they will need to rent a vehicle and cover the cost of meals and lodging.
